Women of Faith Growing Together
Boulder, United States – October 6, 2025 / Boulder Valley Christian Church /
At Boulder Valley Christian Church, women have always been an essential part of the story. Their faith, wisdom, and leadership flow into the life of the church in countless ways, shaping how the community lives out its mission of building authentic relationships with God and one another. Whether through quiet acts of service, encouraging words to a friend, or stepping up to lead, women of faith play an important role in the culture of Boulder Valley.
This fall, the women of the church are preparing for their 2025 Women’s Ministry Fall Retreat, returning once again to Sky Corral Ranch. This retreat reflects something much larger than a single weekend away. It is a picture of how Boulder Valley chooses to contribute, commits to community, and connects to God through intentional spaces of growth.
How Women Shape the Life of the Church
The Impact of Women of Faith
Throughout Scripture, women stepped into faith with courage and trust. Deborah led with wisdom, Esther stood with bravery, and Mary responded with obedience. The women at Boulder Valley live in that same legacy, not only practicing faith in their own lives but also helping to shape the life of the church. Their faith is contagious, influencing their families, friendships, and relationships in the church and their communities.
Living Out Authentic Relationships
The mission of Boulder Valley is to build authentic relationships with God and one another, and women embody this beautifully. They gather for conversation, listen with empathy, and show up for both the joys and sorrows of life. They model what it looks like to believe “transformation happens best in circles, not rows”, and they help weave together the kind of relational culture that defines Boulder Valley.
The 2025 Women’s Ministry Fall Retreat
Who Does God Say I Am?
This year’s retreat, taking place October 17-19, centers on a powerful theme: Who does God say I am? At Sky Corral Ranch, the women will step away from daily routines and distractions to explore how God speaks identity over His people, over the women. It is not about titles, roles, or accomplishments. It is about listening for God’s voice and embracing the truth of what He says is most real.
A Weekend of Worship, Connection, and Fun
The retreat offers a special time of Worship and connection. The ladies will spend time in worship and meaningful conversation, share meals, enjoy good food, and make memories together. Laughter will mix with prayer, and moments of fun will sit alongside deeper times of reflection. It is this combination of joy and intentionality that makes retreats like this so special and life-changing.
Carrying the Retreat Home
When women encounter God’s voice speaking truth over their lives, they come home different. They return with confidence in who God says they are and clarity in how to live that identity out. That change does not stay at Sky Corral Ranch. It comes back to their families, workplaces, neighborhoods, and ministries at Boulder Valley.
Building Up the Church
When women grow, the church grows. By investing in women’s spiritual and emotional health, the entire community of Boulder Valley is strengthened. This retreat is a practical expression of what it means to choose to contribute and to connect to God. The investment in women enriches the church with wisdom, creativity, service, and leadership that benefits everyone.
How the Church Can Participate
Even if you are not attending the retreat, you can still be part in a meaningful way. One of the simplest and most powerful ways to participate is through prayer. Pray for the women who will attend, asking that God would speak clearly, refresh their hearts, and knit them together in unity. Pray for their safety in travel, for moments of rest, and for lasting impact when they return.
Another meaningful way to support the ladies is through encouragement. Before they leave, take a moment to share a kind word, offer to pray with them, or simply let them know you are excited for what God will do. When they return, ask about their experience and listen to what stood out to them. These simple gestures of encouragement remind them that the whole church is walking with them and that the fruit of the retreat belongs to the entire community.
Continuing the Journey Together
The retreat is one weekend in the larger picture of discipleship at Boulder Valley. It reflects the ongoing pattern of learning to grasp the Father’s love, grow in faith, gather in community, and go into circles of influence with a message of hope. Women’s Ministry is one expression of that, and it strengthens the life of the whole church.
A Place Where Everyone Belongs
At Boulder Valley, there is a vision for a community where no one walks their journey alone. Moments like the retreat highlight that transformation happens best in circles, when people gather face-to-face and share both the laughter and the tears of life. The women of Boulder Valley carry this truth forward not only during special weekends away but every day in their homes, neighborhoods, and relationships.
The church family is invited to support, celebrate, and learn from the faith of these women. Their influence reminds everyone what it means to build authentic relationships and to create a culture where everyone belongs.
The women of Boulder Valley are one example of how faith and community come alive here every day. Life here happens in circles, not rows, and there is always room for more.
