CIQ takes a leap forward in partner enablement for the age of AI

RENO, Nev., Aug. 27, 2026 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — CIQ, the founding support and services partner of Rocky Linux, today announced the CIQ partner portal. Approved partners get a defined engagement route, protection on the deals they source, and self-service access to pricing, sales material and agreements.

CIQ has enabled resellers, distributors, and technology partners for years. Much of that work ran on email threads, manual agreement exchanges and requests to a partner manager. The new partner portal keeps the relationships and removes the friction.

Partners are asked to deliver AI and high-performance computing infrastructure on compressed timelines. The partner who can price the work, protect the opportunity and commit inside the same conversation is the partner who wins the deal. CIQ built the partner portal by asking its partners what would let them do exactly that.

“CIQ has built real momentum, and our partners are how we turn that momentum into scale,” said Bjorn Hovland, president of CIQ. “They reach accounts and regions we will never cover directly, and their customers are moving on AI infrastructure now. The portal arms partners to close that business with us, and it is the foundation for how we grow this channel worldwide.”

The partner portal defines four engagement routes, covering cloud, reseller and distribution, ecosystem and technology, and hardware partners, so each partner type works to terms written for its business model. Deal registration is now easily submitted, tracked, and reviewed by the submitting partner. Approved partners register an opportunity, receive a unique registration ID and hold a protection end date. CIQ ties every registration to the end customer account and to the partner who sourced it.

Partners access current product and pricing information, solution briefs, partner enablement videos and their executed agreements with no additional forms to complete or multiple requests to a partner manager. Partner reps see the status and registered value of their own opportunities, and organization admins see every registration across the organization. All of it is delivered inside the CIQ portal at portal.ciq.com/partner, on the same account partners already use for products and licenses.

“Our strongest partner relationships were built one deal at a time, and they work because a few people on both sides carry them,” said Dave Dickerson, head of global alliances at CIQ. “That is not something you can hand to fifty more partners. Now a partner can register an opportunity, pull real pricing and send a customer a brief without waiting on me, and that is what lets us grow the channel without diluting what those relationships are worth.”

Organizations apply through the “Become a partner” form at ciq.com/partners/become-a-partner, and the CIQ partner team follows up to begin onboarding. Access to the full CIQ product portfolio requires a signed general account access agreement, or a distribution or reseller agreement. The CIQ partner portal is the operational groundwork for CIQ’s global channel expansion, with expansions and partner tiers under development for a later phase.
